I have managed to pass all my classes with flying colors. I honestly didn’t think I would survive this semester. Advanced anatomy and physiology was a really challenging course. Here are some of the ways that have worked for me for the fall 2020 semester:
1. Organized Study Area
I always had an organized study space. I would prepare for the class the night before and made sure my table was clean and tidy for the morning class. I cannot concentrate in a messy space.
2. Taking Nootropics
I would take my nootropics supplement every morning from Neuro Health to improve my mental function. It would actually help me stay focused. I have tried other supplements, but I feel like this worked best.
3. Remove all distractions
I would put my phone far away because when it was next to my reach, I would catch myself scrolling through social media and missing out on some important stuff during lecture. I would then have to spend extra time later in the day reviewing the recording, which could have been avoided.
4. Take notes and participate
Actively take notes while you listen to your lecturer. Try to participate as much as you can by answering question or asking questions. This will make you feel like you are in a classroom setting.
5. Make friends
Be in a group chat with other people. That way everyone can share notes or even have a group study session on zoom. Staying connected also helps reduce stress and anxiety.
6. Review chapters before class
If you don’t have the time to review lecture material the night or few days before class, I highly recommend that at least 15-20 minutes before the start of lecture skimming through the PowerPoint or notes so you have the gist of what will be covered.
7. Use an online writing service
Last but not least, I used the services from Essay Pro.
