Okay! So I bought this planner a little over a month ago. I wrote in my previous post that I was going to get it because it looked nice and had great reviews on it. I purchased it from Amazon for $25.99. It was a little on the pricey side, but I have been searching for a perfect planner for a while.
Here are my thoughts on it:
The packaging that it came in was beautiful. I loved the color and the pattern of the box. I opened the box and had a thank you note from Lauren, who is the amazing person behind the busy bee planner.
Behind the note was the multi-colored pens, and they were excellent quality. Then I opened up the planner. I love how it is coil-bonded, so it was easy to flip the pages. The planner is undated, which makes it even better. There were also stickers in the planner, and I thought they were adorable!
But, after starting to go through it and jotting my plans down, I felt like this planner wasn’t for me. Only because there were too many pages, and it’s honestly great for people who love to write and who have a super busy schedule. Maybe that’s why it’s called the busy bee planner which makes a lot of sense.
Even though I’m busy with school and family, sometimes I wasn’t able to fill in all the days, or I would run out of what I’d do this week differently as it was repetitive. I didn’t like leaving any pages blank because it bothered me. The planner itself is really great for everyday to-do lists and everyday motivation. But it was just too overwhelming for me.
I’d highly recommend the planner for someone who is like super duper busy and have things to get done literally every day and new projects every week. I think it would’ve come in handy later on as my nursing program progressed.
But overall, I think it’s a very detailed planner, and if you’re the type of person who loves to write and want to stay motivated and make sure everything gets done and keeps a record of everyday tasks, then this planner is for you!
For now, I’ll continue to look for a planner that suits me best and keep you all updated on finding my perfect planner- journey.
